Program Overview:

 

Community Health Partners with support from Calendula, is championing The Ubuntu Arts Initiative. The Ubuntu Arts Initiative is a community-driven program that aims to leverage the transformative power of art and creativity to foster health awareness, promote diversity, and enhance inclusion among young people in Jinja City, Uganda.

 

Through a mix of art forms, dialogues, and storytelling, the initiative will address pressing health issues, including healthy living, disease prevention, and Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR).

 

The initiative celebrates African culture as a tool for advocacy and change, and will run starting February 2024.
